Learn the art of rug tufting with Zing!In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll explore the basics of rug making using a tufting gun and yarn to bring your own design to life. No prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity, and we’ll provide all the tools, materials, and guidance.Over the course of the workshop, you’ll:-Learn how to set up and use a tufting gun-Explore techniques for creating shapes, lines, and texture-Design and tuft your own custom piece (about 18"x18")-Finish your rug so it’s ready to take home and displayWorkshops are small and hands-on, giving you plenty of support whether you’re a total beginner or just looking to try something new.Come for the creativity, stay for the cozy vibes—it’s the perfect way to brighten up Syracuse winters with a splash of color and a handmade piece of art.

<h3>O﻿verview</h3><p>A 4-5 hour, beginner friendly course, on the basics of using a cut pile tufting gun taught by <a href="https://www.instagram.com/zing.stuff/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zing</a> founder, Isabella Carapella. Students will learn how to set up their frame, thread the gun, maneuver the stitching and other handy tips and tricks while making their own 24” x 24” rug. This is a great beginner class to experiment with tufting, connect with others within the community and learn the foundations of making your own rug. </p><p>All equipment and materials will be provided by the instructor. Just bring yourself! You can choose from the pre-made designs or tuft your own three color design.</p><p>Instructors will take care of glue and backing for all rugs and students can pick up the rugs or have them shipped directly to their home for an extra shipping cost. Once you sign up, instructor will reach out with more information on your rug design. </p><p></p><h3>W﻿hat students take home:</h3><p>-﻿You&#x27;re very own 24&quot; x 24&quot; rug that you tufted yourself!</p><p>-﻿A handy guide that outlines everything taught in class, tips and tricks, resources, and discount codes for future tufting supplies. </p><p>-﻿Access to the class slack community. There is a lot of standing in this class so make sure you&#x27;re dress comfortable.</p><p>-﻿Hair tie for those that can tie their hair back. </p><p></p><p><em><strong>***P﻿lease note that this location is not ADA accessible.
