<h2>About the Speaker</h2><p>Alec Walker worked for Shell as a technical services engineer, a software product manager, and as a reservoir engineer. He has consulted for such firms as AECOM, Intel, and GM, designing and carrying out programs empowering the workforce with data-centric skills for innovation. Alec has run courses for organizations like the American Association for Petroleum Geologists and for more than a dozen universities globally. He holds a BS in chemical and biomolecular engineering from Rice University and an MBA from Stanford.</p>
