Beginner Painting Class

Located in the heart of Main Street South, studio 127 is a warm and inviting working art studio that inspires creativity through classes and a carefully curated assortment of creative supplies. Monica Yother, professional artist, graphic designer and avid art journaler, is your creative guide with a mission to help people discover, nurture and grow their own creativity.

Studio 127

This is a  3 week class focused on acrylic painting basics and techniques. Ages 12 and up.

<p>This 3-part class will help you get started with painting. We are using acrylics and will be painting on canvas. Each week we will practice basic techniques and put them to use in a painting you'll work on each week. Class includes all materials. When you sign up you'll have the chance to pick the photo you work on each week.</p><ul><li>Week 1: Intro to the materials and tools.</li><li>Week 2: Blocking in colors.</li><li>Week 3: Working in details.</li></ul>
