Come join us at Brewpoint Coffee in Elmhurst for a fun introduction to American Mahjong. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the basics of the game, including how to read the National Mahjong League card, understand the tiles, and play through the flow of a Mahjong hand.
No prior Mahjong experience is necessary. Perfect for beginners and friends who want to learn together.
Angela Buikema of Mahjong Mischief will guide you step by step in a welcoming small-group setting. Angela is a certified Oh My Mahjong Instructor and a member of the Mahj Life Instructor Guild. All Mahjong sets and teaching materials are provided, and teaching assistants will be available for additional guidance and support at each table.
Brewpoint Coffee offers a bright, welcoming space that’s perfect for learning and connecting with others.
We’ll begin promptly at 9:30 am, so please arrive a little early to order a drink, find your seat, and get settled before class begins.
