Not at all! This workshop is designed for complete beginners. We treat calligraphy more like "drawing" and "meditation." You will follow our templates and step-by-step guidance, so you don’t need to know the language to create something beautiful.

2. What kind of "handmade" item will I create?

Accepted Answer

Unlike a regular class, this workshop focuses on a finished craft. Depending on the session, you might create a customized bookmark, a decorative fan, or a framed calligraphy piece that you can take home and display or give as a gift.

3. Is everything provided, or should I bring my own supplies?

We provide a "Handmade Kit" for everyone, which includes professional brushes, specialized ink, and high-quality Xuan paper. You don’t need to bring anything but yourself!

Yes! Calligraphy is a great way for kids to practice focus and patience. We usually recommend ages 7 and up for the best experience, but it’s a wonderful activity for families to do together.
