Living Traditions Festival

Learn the culture and basic playing techniques of the didgeridoo--it's more than just a fun word to say!

Salt Lake Main Library

The Australian didgeridoo is one of the simplest instruments in the world, but the sky's the limit on what it can do. It's all up to your breath, your tongue, and your voice. Learn the basics of playing didgeridoo today and you might find yourself on a lifelong journey. That's what happened to teacher Randin Graves, who started in the USA and ended up living with Aboriginal People in Australia. A basic plastic instrument will be provided. This workshop will be held inside the Main Library Conf. Rm. B, on the lower level.
