Beginner Ceramics Techniques 3-Day Workshop

Join us for this 3-day ceramics Wednesday afternoon workshop (June 3rd from 1PM-4PM, June 10th from 1PM-4PM, and June 17th from 1PM-4PM).

In this workshop, you will learn to throw on the wheel and learn handbuilding techniques in the first two sessions. In the last class, you will glaze your item(s). Come see how it feels to transform raw clay into functional and artistic pieces.

FIRST DAY - Wednesday, June 3rd from 1PM-4PM

Learn to throw on the wheel. Handbuilding techniques to make a small pot will also be covered.

SECOND DAY - Wednesday, June 10th from 1PM-4PM

Students will learn how to trim thrown pots (green ware).

THIRD DAY - Wednesday, June 17th from 1PM-4PM

We will glaze our bisque-fired items. NOTE: You will need to come back to pick up your work at a later date after it gets fired again in the kiln to set the glaze.

$149 workshop fee (9 hours total) does not include materials. Clay is charged by the pound and can be purchased from the instructor at the beginning of the workshop.
