Beginner Beekeeping Class

Basic Beekeeping class will cover everything you need to know to successfully care for your hive in the first year. Topics include, bee anatomy, break down of a hive, hive health, etc. We will start working in a classroom setting in the barn and end the day working in hives in our apiary, weather permitting. Those wishing to attend should bring or wear long, loose-fitting pants with a lite colored long sleeve shirt and close-toed shoes with socks. Class is long so bring lunch and drinks. Please don't use any body sprays or heavy perfumes that smell like flowers, you may have more bees as friends than you are ready for.
