Beginner Backyard Birding

Whether you’re a seasoned bird nerd or a backyard beginner, come enjoy a guided walk through our 4-acre garden to learn about native plants that support wildlife in our garden!

This guided garden birding experience will take place outside in our Exploration Gardens. Please bring a hat and refillable water bottle. While we can’t guarantee bird sightings, we will teach you how to identify bird sounds, point out native plants that attract birds, and other identify other methods to support wildlife in our backyards. Class is $10-15 per person.

To help us prepare, please register every member of your party, regardless of how many binoculars your family plans to share or borrow.

· $10 – Bring Your Own Binoculars (BYOB): Select this option if you are bringing your own pair.

· $15 – Borrow Binoculars: Select this option to borrow a pair of our binoculars for the walk.

Walk-ins: Walk-ins are welcome. If you register on-site, please bring exact cash or a check.

Payment policy: Pre-registration on Eventbrite is required along with the non-refundable class registration fee. All ticket sales are final, no refunds.

Cancellation policy: Classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not booked. If class is cancelled you will receive a notification, and a refund confirmation to the e-mail that is provided during the registration process. Refunds for class cancellations may take up to 30 days to process if registration fee is paid by cash or check.
