Through interactive psychoeducation and discussions, you'll learn practical tips on how to befriend your nervous system and promote overall well-being. Where do I park and enter venue?

Parking will be in front of 5228 Lovers Lane. Entrance will be in between Employment Group and Block Advisors.

Do I need any prior experience?

No experience is necessary. This workshop is designed as a gentle introduction and is welcoming to complete beginners.

What should I bring?

Just bring yourself. You’re welcome to bring a journal, a water bottle, or anything that helps you feel more comfortable. Mats, cushions, and chairs will be available.

What will we be doing during the workshop?

You’ll engage in light, guided somatic practices (seated or standing), reflective discussion, and basic psychoeducation about the nervous system. Sharing is always optional.

Is this therapy?

This workshop is not a therapy group, but it is trauma-informed and facilitated by a licensed therapist. It’s educational and experiential, not a substitute for individual therapy.

What if I’m not comfortable with group sharing?

That’s completely okay. Sharing is optional and never expected. You're welcome to listen, reflect quietly, and engage in the way that feels right for you.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing is encouraged, especially something you can move and breathe easily in. Think yoga class, but less movement.

Will there be breaks?

Yes, there will be at least one short pause to stretch, breathe, or step away if needed.

How many people will be there?

The max amount of people will be 5 participants. The group will be kept small to support a warm and connected environment.

What age group is this for?

This offering is for adults 18 and older.
