About this event

Beerside Chats III: Creating the World Through Design

The Beer Culture Center and A Red Orchid Theatre have come together for a series of conversations around the world premiere production of TURRET, now playing at The Chopin Theatre.

Throughout our 3 week series we'll engage in a different theme and discussion around the creation of the play, the production, and the intersectionality of beer and community. Beer Culture Center is driven in the belief that beer is more than just a beverage. It is a dynamic cultural force with the ability to bring people together and the power to make change.

Week III is all about design and technology. How do we translate the creativity behind words, ideas, and product into a visual representation that best reflects all of those things? This week features a conversation with TURRET Projections Designer Paul Deziel and Beer Culture Center Advisory Board Member and Half Acre Co-Founder, Gabriel Magliaro. Discussion begins promptly at 7:15pm.

$10 ticket fee includes one complimentary beer. Bravo!

The Beer Culture Center (formerly the Chicago Brewseum), is the world's first non-profit organization dedicated to sharing stories of how beer has shaped humanity. By using stories of the past and tales of the present, the Beer Culture Center takes a deeper look into one of the oldest beverages and its power to build community and its importance as an ongoing cultural force.
