Join us for full-day workshops as we introduce key beekeeping concepts through instruction and experiential learning opportunities!
Join us at Durham College Whitby Campus Urban Farm for a series of three hands-on beekeeping workshops!
To participate in the sessions, you must bring your own personal safety equipment including the following:
- Beekeeper gloves and veil
- Hive tool
- Covered shoes, long pants with thick material, jacket or thick long sleeve shirt.
HONEY HARVESTING

MITE TREATMENT & WINTER PREP

Proper fall management can make the difference between strong, healthy colonies in the spring and significant winter losses. This workshop will provide practical guidance and seasonal best practices to help your bees successfully navigate the colder months.
