The Bee-ginners Beekeeping Course is a two (2) day course, instructing individuals on how to become a competent beekeeper. Topics range from the history of beekeeping, local and state regulations governing beekeeping, bee biology, beekeeping equipment, colony dynamics, introduction to pests and diseases and how to inspect your hive. You will be provided with a certificate on educational hours and instruction.

Each Session: Presentations/Q and A/Checks on Learning

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (timely breaks or please just excuse yourselves).

Exam Process: Checks on Learning at the end of each presentation

Comprehensive Exam (questions from checks on learning, open book, T or F/Fill in the Blank)
