Saturday, May 14, 202210:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Instructor: Christopher StalderLearn about the fascinating lives of honey bee colonies and their inhabitants. Find out about the equipment and site(s) needed to get started with your own adventure with these stinging insects that produce delicious honey &amp; useful beeswax! Registration includes admission to the beautiful gardens before or after class.Christopher Stalder is a graduate of the University of Florida and has worked with the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. He is also an environmental scientist, a butterfly gardener, a backyard beekeeper and a member of the Florida State Beekeepers Association. He offers natural history programs around the state on many subjects including herpetology, butterfly gardening and beekeeping. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professionals upon request. Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
