Build a shelter for solitary bees! Bees are important pollinators with rapidly decreasing habitats, so welcome these friendly insects into your garden and help the bee population. Participants will leave with a finished bee hotel and a packet of information about upkeep, plus other resources for mak­ing your yard more bee-friendly.
Cost is $20 per person. All supplies and museum admission are included. The workshop is designed for ages 10 and up. Anyone under 16 must participate with an adult, whom must also register. Advance registration and payment required.
