Welcome to Leaf & Sky's 3rd Annual Bee Fest!
Whether you’re a bee lover or just curious, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
- Join us at Leaf & Sky at 1206 E. 49th Terrace, for native garden tours, a Bee Talk at 11 a.m. with Sami Aaron, artisan goods, local honey, native plants, and lots of buzz-worthy moments.
- Free activities will also take place in the Troostwood Pocket Park, just down the hill at 49th Street and Troost. Visit the Kansas City Public Library's Bookmobile (10 a.m. - 1 p.m.), or stop by for an AIMWell yoga session (starts at 10:30 a.m.), face painting (11 a.m. to noon), crafts, and more. Plus, free honey lemonade!
- Buy a $5 raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize from Troost businesses, including Anchor Island Coffee, Gaels Public House & Sports, The Greensman, Grupo Axé Capoeira Kansas City, High Hopes, TikiTaco, and Troost39. Drawing will take place at 3 p.m.
- All raffle proceeds support the addition of natural play equipment to the pocket park.
