Central Brooklyn Halloween Ride

Starting in Bedford Stuyvesant, but heading to a job on the 2,3,4,5,B,Q,D,N,R lines? Try biking partway instead of making a transfer! Take a tour on this loop that takes you past Atlantic Terminal, then hop off if you’d like at the Prospect Park Halloween Fair. Optional round trip ride will return via Eastern Parkway Greenway. Estimated time is 30-45 min to Prospect Park, depending on pace, with an additional 20-30 minute ride return. On-street riding with some mixing in traffic. 
Start: Verona Pl & Fulton St Citibike Station.  
End: Herkimer St and Kingston Ave Citibike Station.  
Length: 5.0 miles (3-mile one-way trip ends at Prospect Park to attend Halloween Fair, optional)
Bring your own bike, or try a CitiBike. Please bring a helmet. Halloween costumes encouraged!

Volunteer mechanics from the <A HREF="https://www.facebook.com/bikecoopnyc/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mechanical Gardens Bike Co-op</A> will be on hand to help fix flats, adjust brakes, improve shifting, lubricate chains and gears, adjust saddles and handlebars, true wobbly wheels, and diagnose the creaks and shakes your bike may have picked up riding the city streets. Repairs are free, and available for both adult and kid bikes.
