beCZINE

An afternoon of celebration and creation, beCZINE, is an event to invite community to creation and the act of being seen. CZINE (pronounced “c-een”) is an anthological magazine meant to present and engage Black womxn (with an emphasis on queerness) as living archives. This event will be an immersive experience into the stories and art featured in the magazine while inviting attendees to be the next feature. Through performance and creation, art will serve as the centerpiece for the night. A curated evening opening with grounding practices and offerings from featured artists will transition into a writing and photography workshop.
