Join us as we celebrate the release of Beauty Is Oxygen by Wes Vander Lugt, director of the Leighton Ford Initiative in Theology, the Arts, and Gospel Witness at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
In this book, Dr. Vander Lugt contends that beauty is oxygen for a life of faith, hope, and love because it comes from the lungs of God. This wild and wondrous beauty cannot be used, purchased, or achieved; it must be encountered, witnessed, and recieved.
The evening will include a gallery opening featuring work by several local artists, live music, readings from the book, and time for open dialogue. Hardback copies of Beauty Is Oxygen will be available for $20 (cash, check, or Venmo).
