Scout Island Nature Centre

A daily program, ages 3-6, 9:30-12, $15/day

A daily program is a week event for children aged 3-6. Each day will incorporate learning about local bugs and insects, through being in nature and having outdoor fun and games. This program will be run by our university summer staff.Ages: For children age 3-6When is it?Drop off: 9:30Program time 9:30-12Pick up: 12Teaching PhilosophyInstruction and play are founded on reciprocity with the natural world, child-led exploration, and a sense of wonder. What to bring:<ul><li>Sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat and shoes for walking</li><li>A garbage free snack (children can win prizes for snacks with no garbage)</li><li>A large water bottle</li><li>A change of clothes</li></ul>Please ensure you've filled out the registration form so we have medical, safety and contact information.
