Beats+Bites+Backgrounds is a networking experience hosted in partnership by the Diversity in Design (DID) Collaborative and _OFCOLOR.

Native Bar & Cafe

Join us on Tuesday, March 14 from 2PM – 12AM at Native Bar &amp; Café in Austin, TX for an evening of community-building, learning together, and sharing authentic experiences at the “Beats+Bites+Backgrounds” networking experience hosted in partnership by the Diversity in Design (DID) Collaborative and _OFCOLOR. Hear from influential speakers, connect and create with fellow Black creatives based in Austin and beyond, all while enjoying refreshments and great music. You will have access to a design lab for a 2-hour time period where you will engage with textiles and reusable materials powered by MillerKnoll, Tarkett, Fossil Group, Inc., and The Freeman Company. After experiencing these artist-led design labs, you’ll come together with other members of your “design cohort” to listen to creative storytelling by leading design professionals and network with other Black creatives.
