Ready to turn your love for music into serious skills? Beat Lab is a hands-on, one-week intensive program designed for aspiring music producers ages 13+ who want to learn the fundamentals of beat making, production techniques, and creative workflow. Even aduts who join online will gain a pleathora of knowledge they can apply, and be able to participate in the final beat competition.

Beat Lab Partner: Bass Parlour

Led by studio owner Skyler Reed and lead producer Prince Ali, this immersive experience will guide you through:

• Production history and careers in music
• The basics of DAWs (like Logic Pro, Ableton, or Pro Tools)
• Sampling, programming, and layering sounds
• Building full tracks from scratch
• Music theory and song form
• Creative mixing techniques and recording practices
• Collaboration and real-time feedback

This year features guest producer, MaDiaC MaX, who will demonstrate and provide a memorable on experience for producing with live instruments.

Whether you're new to production or already experimenting with your sound, Beat Lab will give you the tools and confidence to level up. The week ends with a Friday afternoon beat battle, where you'll share what you've created and get feedback from your peers and instructor.
