The Bearcat Baseball Scout Day is new for 2024 and is available to all players grades 7-9 (24-25 enrollment). Players will be put through the same tryout procedure that we use for our own tryouts every spring. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know the baseball staff at Kearney High, as well as an excellent opportunity for the coaches to get to know you! In addition, this will be a great way to experience a tryout prior to actually trying out in high school. Each player will be given a card with their measurables that were collected during the Scout Day.

Equipment needed

The only equipment absolutely necessary is a baseball glove. We will have helmets and bats available for anyone who needs them. If you choose to wear cleats, be sure to bring tennis shoes to hit in the indoor facility.
