A week long event for Bears, cubs, otters and more come to party, shop, dance, eat, hit the cabarets & shows along the strip and enjoy some of Cape Cods best beaches. Your dog tag gets you into several events for free or a reduced cover charge. Participating restaurants offer discounts or free items with purchase of entree. Many stores will offer discounts or special items for dog tag holders. Tea dances are included in your registration fee at the world famous Boatslip Tea Dance on the Provincetown bay. If nightclubbing is your thing, there are parties every night of the week at the many bars and dance clubs throughout town. Some parties are included in your registration and others offer a discounted cover charge at the door.
All registrants will receive a dog tag and official run t-shirt. You will also receive a booklet that lists all the events sponsored by or in association with PtownBears. The booklet will also list places where your dog tags will get you discounts at shops, free menu items and discounted cover charges at many of the dance clubs. It will have ads for shows available during Bear Week and ticket info. There is something for everyone in Provincetown and you will be surrounded by fellow members of the Bear and LGBTQ+ community it what many have called the gayest town in the country.

The Bear Booth will be open daily Sun.-Fri. from 11am - 4pm at the Firehouse, 254 Commercial St., near Town Hall . Find flyers for shows & events, postings for that days events, the official run booklets and you can also purchase PtownBears branded merchandise like towels, hats and t-shirts.
No. Your registration tag will only get you into events sponsored by PtownBears. Other promoters also run events during our event, so you must buy tickets or passes for their events separately. Your tag will not get you into other events for free/discounted rate if their event requires a ticket.
You can request a refund up to 7 days prior to our event. Processing fees are included in registration price and Eventbrite's processing fees are nonrefundable. Processing & ticket fees for the Early Bird pkgs are $14.99, your refund: $185.01. Full Price pkgs fees are $16.97, your refund: $213.03.
