Beacon: Riverfront Park Cleanup 

The 2019 Riverkeeper Sweep is our 8th Annual day of service for the Hudson River. Thousands of volunteers will help clean up shorelines, plant trees and maintain wildlife at 100+ locations from Brooklyn to the Adirondacks.Sponsors of the event include ABSOLUT, JSA Financial, HSBC, M&T Bank, The Agricultural Bank of China,Angry Orchard,The Avangrid Foundation and NYSEG,Louis Berger, The Louis Berger Charitable Foundation,Hudson River Bank and Trust Company Foundation, Ironshore, and EILEEN FISHER.

Join the Beacon Sloop Club and Riverkeeper for a cleanup of Beacon’s Riverfront Park on Saturday, May 4, 2019 for the 8th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson River and its tributaries.
Volunteers will meet at Beacon Sloop Club. Free parking is available at the MTA Metro-North Train Station. We ask all Sweep volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring work gloves, a hat, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle and snacks. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with proper adult supervision.
