About this event

On Saturday mornings, class is at *10am and for Sunset Wednesdays, class times get later as the days get longer, so check the schedule for the start time. We meet on the sand near the water's edge (just N of the Ketch Lifeguard Tower) between Lighthouse and Ketch Streets on the Marina del Rey Peninsula Beach (11 blocks S of the Venice Pier on Washington Blvd). Bring a sheet or large towel to place under your mat if you have one. Feel free to bring any yoga props you may have, as well. This is an all-levels class. Everyone is welcome to join.

Frequently asked questions

What should I bring?

Bring a sheet or a large beach towel to lay on the sand, and a yoga mat if you have one to put on top. Wear layers, bring water, yoga props if you have them, and don't forget the sunscreen. Beach umbrellas are welcome on the periphery of class.

Where is class located?

You can find us on the sand closer to the water between Lighthouse and Ketch Streets on the Marina del Rey Peninsula Beach. We are 11 blocks south of the Venice Pier (from Washington Blvd).

Where should I park?

Drive down Pacific and you will likely find something in the area of Lighthouse Street. During high season and holidays, navigate "Roma Court and Lighthouse" and park on the Silver Strand. It's a 5-minute walk over the Lighthouse Bridge to the beach.

What level is this class?

We have newcomers to yoga weekly. This is an all-levels class, so prompts are given for variations in poses. You do what you can. You can always lie on your mat on the beach, soaking in this spectacular location if you need to take a break. :)

Do you guarantee dolphin sightings?

We do not guarantee dolphin sightings, however, we do see them often. ;)

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are not refundable but you can give them to someone else if you are unable to attend.
