About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

  • Free venue parking

You’re invited to a compassionate, all-levels flow practice by the ocean’s edge—a space to reconnect with your body, breath, and inner rhythm in your own time and way.

We’ll begin with breath awareness and gentle movement to arrive in the moment. From there, you’ll be offered optional shapes and sequences that support grounding, strength, and fluidity. You are always encouraged to move in ways that feel safe and supportive for you. There is no “right” way to show up—your presence is enough.

This class is guided with a trauma-informed lens, centering choice, agency, and care. We’ll close with time for stillness and integration, accompanied by the sounds of the sea.

Please bring anything that supports your comfort: a mat or towel, water, blanket, layers, journal—or simply yourself.

🌊 A suggested donation of $15 is appreciated to support the energy and care that goes into holding this space. Give what you can; no one will be turned away due to a lack of funds. Donations will be collected on the day of the event.

No prior yoga experience needed. All bodies and identities are welcome. Come as you are, and leave as you are—maybe just a little more connected.

Frequently asked questions

Where should I park?

You can find street parking in the neighborhood around the beach. There is also a lot that usually has ample parking during the day, about a 3-minute walk from the beach.

Do I need to have yoga experience to join?

Nope! This class is open to all levels, including complete beginners. You’ll be offered choices throughout the practice and are always welcome to move at your own pace or take rest when needed.

What should I bring?

A yoga mat or towel, water, and anything else that supports your comfort—like a blanket, layers, sunscreen, or a journal. If you forget something, just come as you are. We’ll make it work.

Is this really trauma-informed? What does that mean?

Yes. Trauma-informed means we honor your agency, avoid forceful language, and create a space that supports choice, safety, and nervous system regulation. You will never be touched without your consent, and all invitations to move are optional.

What if I have injuries or chronic pain?

You are welcome here. You’ll be encouraged to listen to your body and adapt movements to meet your needs. You’re also welcome to pause, rest, or simply observe at any point in class.

How much does it cost?

The class is offered by donation, with a suggested contribution of $15. That said, you are welcome regardless of what you can give. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
