Integrated Community Alternatives Network, or ICAN, a not-for-profit organization, is a unique home and community-based network that provides individualized and non-traditional services and care to the highest risk individuals and families with social, emotional, mental health and behavioral challenges. Created for Child Abuse Awareness Month – Be “THE” Connection: Exploring the Importance of Connection in a “Socially Distanced” World

<h2>*** Zoom link will be emailed to all participants the morning of the event</h2>Jeremy Butler, ICAN&#x27;s Director of Community Initiatives and Carrie Conte, ICAN’s Community Initiatives Program Manager, will present an interactive and important training on Zoom that is open to the public. As we slowly begin to emerge from a year of &quot;Social Distancing&quot;, it&#x27;s important for us to explore how becoming more disconnected can reduce some of our key protective factors when it comes to preventing Child Abuse. In this interactive and experiential workshop, participants will engage in activities designed to highlight the importance of connection as well as gain a better understanding of what we can all do to connect in more authentic ways to our teams, to our own supports and to our clients which can only serve to help give each of us an opportunity to be that &quot;one person&quot; that helped to change someone&#x27;s life.
