Experts have predicted the 2024 hurricane season will be a busy one. Now is the time to prepare for this and other weather-related emergencies. Whether it is a hurricane, tornado, flooding, or snow, having a plan in place can help keep your family safe.

This free virtual session will cover easy, free, or low-cost ways to help prepare your family, and your community for weather-related emergencies.

This session will also cover:

• Four steps to disaster planning

• Ways to minimize degree of loss or harm

• How to protect your home and assets

• How to create a low-cost basic emergency kit

• The importance of a communication plan

• Free electronic guides, resources, and more!


This workshop will meet via Zoom on Thursday, June 13 from 2 pm - 3 pm, ET.

Register by June 11th to be eligible to win emergency supplies to help update or build your emergency kit. (Must be present to win)
