International Women's Day, March 8, is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
Join us for an evening of inspiration, powerful stories, change-making women and community building. You'll learn ways to stay engaged and take action. Enjoy a robust program along with appetizers, wine and opportunities to both learn and share.
More about International Women's Day Seattle:The global theme selected for 2017 is “Be Bold for Change.” We are proud to announce that Seattle will recognize IWD on the evening of March 8th leveraging the global theme. We have as...sembled a group of amazing women, including Martha Adams, Chief Creative Officer for Girls Rising to share experiences of how they have been bold, stood up and taken action for change locally, nationally and around the world.

Our objective is to inspire women in 2017, to Be Bold: Stand Up For Change and take groundbreaking action that truly drives the greatest change for women.
Each of us - with women and men joining forces - can be a leader within our own spheres of influence and take bold, pragmatic action to accelerate gender parity. We can collectively help women advance and unleash the limitless potential offered to economies the world over.

4:30 p.m. Doors open, Reception & Refreshments
5:30 p.m. Program begins
8:00 p.m. Live music performance by local artist, Star Anna, a Pacific Northwest folk and rock artist whose voice is often compared to Janis Joplin.
Followed by closing remarks & ways to take action.
Parking is limited with evening pricing ($9.00) starting at 5:00 pm and 3-hour-max street parking starting at 5:00 pm. We encourage using public transportation or carpool if possible.
