About this event

As a Makersville Volunteer you are entitled to participate in the Makerspace even when you are not volunteering.

You will support one or more of our events, projects and/or brands in development.

Friday PMs are for volunteer training only. Tues/Thurs are open hours and we ask you to register for one or more shifts.

You will learn about our projects and contribute to them. Skills needed are drawing, editing, video making, as well as LEGO(r) building, discovery based exploration into rube goldberg, sewing, research.

The Bunny Factory explores production in quantity, with an American worker optic. We explore the concept of sponsored bunny making for events, and marketing of our bunnies on handmade platforms such as Etsy and in person at handmade events. You will make videos for our channels.

Research you do on the Rube Goldberg competition will be used to make videos for a new Contraptions brand we are developing.

You will take the theme of historic amusement zones, exploring the Long Beach Pike, Great Yarmouth in the UK, the Pacific Electric Red Car.

You will draw, write, make activity books that we will work to publish in the future.

You may make LEGO models and do research on various subjects we identify.

All volunteers are asked to submit their volunteer forms before their second day of volunteering.
