What are we doing for this event? In my opinion, one of the coolest opportunities in whiskey is selecting your own barrel. I have been lucky enough to have had this experience dozens of times. The idea that the same distillate, made of the same day, aged in the same warehouse can taste so different fascinates me! Typically only spirits professionals are involved with this process. For years I have been trying to get a distillery to open this experience up to one of our events. I have been unsuccessful, until now...Joshua, founder of Subtle Spirits, has agreed to bring large enough single barrel, barrel proof samples for us to try at this event. Everyone in attendance at the event will be able to vote on their favorite samples. Whichever sample wins, we will be getting the entire barrel! Each ticket to this event includes a bottle from the barrel that we as a group select! The tickets also include dinner, service and the samples!
We sell the tickets at QBB or on Eventbrite.
This event will take place inside QBB's dining room. The seating will be community style.
We will have 0.5oz of the each of the barrels.
