Description

The 2019 BayCare Sports Medicine Conference focuses on innovations in sports medicine including advancements in surgical procedures, physical therapy and alternative non-surgical treatments. Keynote speaker Dr. Rhett Polka, a leading innovator in physical therapy, will discuss his journey of redesigning the way we look at injury prevention and recovery through function and physiology instead of focusing on the injury at hand! In addition, there is an impressive lineup of sports-focused physicians who will present health topics relevant to athletes and general health and wellness. Topics of other sessions include advances stem cell therapies, foot and ankle injury treatments, common hand and wrist injuries, advancements in treatment of ACL injuries and total knee replacement in the athlete.

Fee (includes continental breakfast and lunch):

  • Adults: $35

  • CME attendees: $55 (physicians (5 CMEs), physician assistants (5 CMEs))

  • CEH attendees: $55 (credits for nursing (5.5 CEHs), occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant (6 CEHs), physical therapy and physical therapy assistant (6 CEHs), and radiologic techs (5.5 CEHs))

No partial credit given, you must attend the whole conference to receive hours.
