AFSN Hair and Skin Care Workshop

Are you a foster, adoptive or kinship caregiver of a child with a different hair texture than your own? This event is perfect for you! Join us for a fun-filled morning of learning and sharing with discussion led by Sherese Pirtle on different types of African American hair and how to care for them. Discover tips and tricks for washing, moisturizing, and styling hair that will help you embrace and celebrate your child's unique hair type. From curly to kinky, we'll cover it all! Sherese will also talk about skin care and give you some great tips on how to navigate seasonal changes.

Parents are encouraged to bring children to join in on the training. Each child that attends the training, will receive a goody bag of hair and skin care at the end of the training.
