Bay Babies - Horseshoe Crabs

Welcome to the Bay Babies - Horseshoe Crabs event! 

Get ready for a fun-filled hour exploring the fascinating world of our local seahorse species, in the beautiful sea-side setting of Tiana Bayside Facility in Hampton Bays, NY. Join us on Wed May 22 2024 at 09:00 AM and learn all about these amazing creatures. It will be a day to remember! 

Bay Babies is for children 18 to 36 months old accompanied by an adult caretaker. 

Our Bay Babies and Bay Buddies programs are designed for caretakers and little ones to learn and experience together*. Hands-on, interactive activities include story reading, touch-and-feel learning, age-appropriate art projects, and meeting live marine animals in a safe and fun way. Some activities may take place at the edge of the bay, so dress for the weather and bring an extra change of clothes and towel. 

*Caretakers must stay with their registered child for the duration of the program, and be able to assist them in safely interacting with other children, educators, and live animals. 

Registering more than one child

Each registration purchased admits one child,18 to 36 months old, accompanied by 1 adult. Additional children in the same age bracket should be registered separately, by purchasing additional . We recommend having 1 adult per child, but a single caretaker may accompany up to 2 children, as long as they are 18-36 months.

Cancellation Policy 

We will issue a full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance of the event start time. After that it becomes a donation to our habitat and shellfish restoration, and education initiatives. We thank you for your contribution!
