The event will happen over 2 days, on Saturday, October 18 from 10am -  8pm and Sunday, October 19 from 12pm - 6pm.

How many sauna sessions are available per day, and how long are they?

Accepted Answer

Sauna sessions will extend for 60 minutes. On Saturday, there will be (10) sessions available. On Sunday, there will be (6) sessions available.

What should I bring with me?

We recommend bringing a bathing suit, (2) towels and slippers. Changing areas and lockers will be available on site.

Where is the event located, how do I get there, and is there parking?

The event is located at The Sandlot Anacostia, 600 Howard Rd SE in Washington, D.C. Street parking is available. Guests are encouraged to use WMATA and take the Green Line to Anacostia.

Step into the warmth with Therme Group at Bathe-ing DC, a pop-up sauna village at Sandlot Anacostia. Enjoy guided 60-minute sessions—mindfulness, venik rituals, breathwork, sound, and storytelling—led by expert facilitators, fostering connection, ritual, and community.

Are there age limits to who can sauna?

Mobile sauna sessions are open to guests ages 13 and up. If you have any medical conditions that may be impacted by sauna use, we encourage you to consult your doctor and use your best judgment before participating.
