Do you have greens that you don't know what to do with them? Or want to incorporate more greens in your meals but need new ideas?

N.C. Cooperative Extension - Madison County Center

<p>Join us as we batch-make a large quantity of pesto using different greens such as spinach, kale, collards, parsley, basil and arugula. Bring a bunch of whatever greens you like, and leave with small batch quantities you&#x27;ll freeze to use at a later time on roasted veggies, eggs, pizza, pasta, bread, tortillas, soup, steamed veggies, beans, etc. Please bring an ice cube tray so you can take home ice-cube sized individual servings to add to different dishes. We&#x27;ll also make kale chips to enjoy. For more information, contact Jessica @ jjmollet@ncsu.edu or 828-649-2411.</p><p>All individuals under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.</p>
