About this event

Let's go bat-watching! We will hike an easy-to-moderate two-mile loop in a beautiful geological park along the Littleton, CO foothills. Here, we will look for birds and then bats at dusk. The hike will be led by Alison Kondler, a Colorado Parks and Wildlife Volunteer Naturalist and Denver Audubon Master Birder. She will be using her Echo Meter Touch Bat Detector, which identifies bat species by their echolocation calls in real time.

Free event. Early sign-up is encouraged. All skill levels, from beginners to seasoned birdwatchers, are welcome, and participants must be 18 years of age or older. You will receive detailed information via email the day before the field trip.

Please bring binoculars (if you have them), a flashlight, closed-toe shoes, water, and snacks.
