Alex Lacquement organizes a number of events in Baltimore, MD. Each one of these events has their own unique character. One thing that they all have in common is they are centered around people gathering together to celebrate music and community. (Click on the links or pictures below to learn more.)

- The Baltimore Bluegrass Jam is a bi-weekly jam at the Five and Dime Ale House that he and Luke Chohany lead together.

- The Baltimore Honky Tonk is a once a monthly dance where people come out to Waverly Brewing Company to two-step to a new live band each month.

- Music on the Square is a once a month concert series held in a wonderful church in the Canton neighborhood featuring a variety of roots music performers.

- The Classic Country Jam & Dance is a semi frequent jam and dance where people can gather to sing and play their favorite classic country numbers with a live band at various places around Baltimore.

- Music at The Spot is pop-up concert a cleaned and cleared hidden wooded gem near Lake Montebello. I had the idea to clean it up and eventually share this space with others. This project helped me to regularly get outside during the cold months and provided me with a physical space to grow and hold my optimism for the future. After a number of months of work, I’ve removed roughly fifteen bags of trash from this ‘secret spot’ and freed the trees from the tangles of a few hundred pounds of aggressive kudzu vines.
