BASIC Tree Trimmer Course - ISA CEUs available
Tree Trimmer Certification is REQUIRED by Broward County for all who trim trees as part of their business. However, the covered material is universal and is very applicable to Palm Beach County as well.
Basic Tree Trimming Certification Class
Topics covered include:
The goals of pruning, good versus poor cuts, understanding why tree abuse hurts trees, canopy elevation, thinning/reduction cuts, correcting structural defects, and other related tree care best practices,
Weather permitting, the class includes outdoor pruning demonstrations. Please be prepared to go outdoors so dress appropriately, bring a hat and your own water bottle.
Participants who attend the class and pass the post-class quiz earning a score of 70% or higher will receive a laminated certification card which is good for two years.
This class is open to industry professionals AND the general public.
