In this beginner-friendly, hands-on session, you'll learn the fundamental steps of re-upholstering a small piece of furniture. You'll strip out old fabric and staples, cut and attach fresh material, and walk out with a finished piece to take home.

🪑 How to identify and disassemble the parts of a chair or stool
🔧 Safe use of a staple gun, flathead screwdriver, and pliers
✂️ How to measure, cut, and align new fabric on a frame
🏥 Techniques for attaching fabric cleanly, including neat corner folds
🛋️ How to choose the right upholstery fabric for different uses — pets, outdoor, heavy use, and more

Your re-upholstered piece. You'll work on it during class and leave with it fully finished.

Come Prepared
🪑 Bring a small chair, stool, or headboard you'd like to re-upholster. Something with a simple, removable seat or cushion is ideal. Not sure if your piece qualifies? Email us before the workshop.
