About this event

In this basic academy for emergency responders, you will learn about ethics in peer support, communication skills, how to identify when someone is struggling, how to use your lived experience to build rapport, as well as how to help fascilitate a critical incident. The cost for the Basic Academy is $300 (sign up by April 9th for a 5% discount!).

Can I invite others to attend this class from my agency or neighboring agencies?

Absolutely!

Can I miss a day of the class?

Unfortunately, no. We cover a lot of material each day of the class, and the class itself is basically a cohort. If you are unable to attend one day of the class, we encourage you to hold off on registration until you can attend both days in full.

Is food provided?

No, but we will provide snacks, water and coffee. There are plenty of places nearby to grab food should you need to. You can also bring your own.
