About this event

**THIS CLASS IS LOCATED AT CEDAR DALE PET RESORT IN GENOA CITY, WI**

Basic Obedience Level 1 Group Training Class (for ages 12 weeks and up)

During this four-week course we will work on name recognition as a foundation for recall and release, along with basic obedience skills like sit and down. We will address common issues like jumping and leash pulling so owners have the tools need to achieve comfortable loose leash walking. We will then further proof those skill with increased distractions including high reward items, greeting and approaching people, and other dogs. This class focuses largely on effective handler and dog communication. Each class will be approximately 50 minutes in length and will be held at Cedar Dale Pet Resort in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

This class starts at 6:00pm on Mondays and will run for 4 consecutive weeks.

Owners are welcome to bring their dog's favorite treats or use praise as a reward. Training collar recommendations may be made on an idividual basis if needed but are not required.

Space is limited and our classes are small, so class fees are non refundable and will not be pro-rated for any classes missed.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow dogs with aggressive tendacies towards other animals or humans in our group classes. Dog that are overly vocal or reactive towards other dogs or humans, or otherwise disruptive to the group will not be permitted in class. Please contact us directly to discuss other training options available.
