The American Heart Association designed this program to prepare instructor candidates to teach Basic Life Support & Heartsaver  CPR.

Thank you for being proactive and being prepared for emergency situations needing life-saving skills, you can make a difference!
Required materials- review prior to coming to the course & bring with you:
1. Basic Life Support Provider Manual 2020  (Product # 20-1102)
2. Basic Life Support Instructor Manual 2020 (Product # 20-1103)
3. BLS_Instructor_Essentials_Instructor_Candidate_Workbook 3-4-21 
4. BLS Instructor Essentials Online  (Product # 20-1420) -bring the completion  certificate

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/ AED Instructor candidate Information about American Heart Association (AHA) course.To become an AHA BLS Instructor, BLS Instructor candidates must:<ul><li>Have current BLS Provider status and be proficient in all the skills of that discipline. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting. If you have physical conditions that might prevent you from participating in the course, please inform the instructors when you arrive for the session.
