About the ClassWhether you are an absolute beginner or someone who need to shake some rust off before your next project, we invite you to join us to learn the basic mechanics for welding. The first half of class will be dedicated to learning about the fundamentals of your machine, gas, and proper welding set-up. The second half of class will be all hands-on,putting metal to metal and making some welds! Students will walk away with a small class project as well as more confidence to weld on their own.After doing some practice welds with mild steel sheet metal and common shapes of metal (like square tubing/flatstock/round stock), students will walk away with a small class project as well as more confidence to weld on their own.All you will need to bring are your questions and a pair of gloves! Age LimitsMinors between the age of 12 to 16 are welcome to join but must be accompanied by an adult. A ticket should be purchased for both the minor and adult. Minors that are between 17 and 18 will still need an adult to sign a minor waiver form but an adult does not have to buy an accompanying ticket. Cancellation PolicyYou may request a cancellation for a full refund, minus any Eventbrite fees up until 72 hours prior to the event. Cancellations made after the 72 hour mark may be refunded in credit or transfer of class at the instructor's discretion. No refunds or credits will be given for No-shows or cancellations.
