Basic Handgun Class

Utah Division of Wildlife Resources

The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is teaming up with Anchored in Grace LLC to offer a one-hour handgun basics class. The class is designed for new gun owners who want to become more proficient and comfortable handling their firearm. The class will also be useful to those who plan to purchase a handgun in the future. The Lee Kay Public Shooting Range is a clean, safe and professional environment with knowledgeable and friendly staff ready to assist new handgun owners. The class will highlight gun safety and fundamentals of handgun shooting.
Participants will learn: • proper grip and stance • sight alignment and sight picture • breath control • trigger control and follow through • gun safety and proper storage 
The class is a hands-on clinic using training firearms.
