Basic Firearms Ownership

A 4-hr. presentation that focuses on the fundamentals of firearms ownership, legal concerns, operations, safety, selection, and storage.

Our Basic Firearms Ownership course is designed to educate those new to shooting on basic firearms handling and safety, legal responsibilities, self-defense considerations, storage requirements, personal firearms and ammunition selection. This is a non-shooting course, with no firearms and ammunition permitted in the classroom. If desired, optional one-on-one firearms instruction and familiarization with local shooting range procedures can be scheduled .

This course is a 4-hr. Instructor-led class developed to help new gun owners better understand how to own, operate, store and maintain a firearm. Our objective is to ensure that new owners feel comfortable, confident, and safe when handling their firearm.
