Basic Computer Skills Training

Overview

Get comfy with computers and boost your basic tech skills in this chill, hands-on session.

This course introduced will introduce current Lake County Illinois residents to essential digital skills:


  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Internet Safety Basics
  • Emial Basics
  • Windows 11
  • Introduction to Office 360 Products (we do not cover advanced topics)


Additional details:

The class followed a three-week format, meeting two times a week

Sessions are going to be held on August 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th and 27th

Class time: 5:00PM – 7:00 PM (please arrive 10-15 minutes early for check-in)

Location: University Center of Lake County

You must be able to commit to 12 hours of learning time in order to successfully complete the class.

Participants receive a certificate and laptop upon successful completion of the course.
