I don't know how to ride a bike. May I join this class?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, no. This class assumes that you learned how to maintain your balance on a bike and pedal it.

With that said, we do expect some participants to be a bit rusty.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Yes! A huge part of being a cyclist is staying safe. Staying safe means wearing a helmet.

Question 3

May I bring my own bike?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Please make sure your bike is in good working condition.

Question 4

Is the class cancelled if it rains?

Accepted Answer

We will monitor the weather as the scheduled class date nears. If steady rain showers are forecasted during the time of the class, then we will send an email approximately 12 to 24 hours before the event indicating that the class will be canceled. The registration fee will be fully refunded.

Are restroom facilities available?

Yes. Restrooms will be available in the nearby Franconia Rec Center.

Why do you ask for my height during registration?

We ask for your height so that we can best reserve a bike that fits you.

Question 7

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

You have up until 7 days before the class to cancel your registration and receive a refund. Unfortunately, you will not be refunded the payment processing fees that Eventbrite charges.

What if I don't have a bike yet?

Accepted Answer

Don't worry! We can provide you with a bike and helmet to use during this class.
