Will tools, repair supplies, or repair services be sold at the event?

We're excited to partner with Silicon Valley Bicycle Exchange (SVBE) for this class. SVBE has a retail shop where they sell used parts, refurbished bikes, and new accessories. They also offer bike repair outside of the class. For more information and pricing, see their webpage: https://bikex.org/

Can you fix my bike?

Accepted Answer

No, your bike should already be functional for this class. The purpose of this class is to teach participants how do perform a basic safety check of their bike and do basic maintenance (air, brakes, chain, fixing a flat). Bikes that need more repair than this should be taken to a bike repair shop.

Question 3

Can I bring my electric bike?

Accepted Answer

You are welcome to bring whatever bike you normally use, however please recognize that electric bikes may be too heavy to put on the bike stands or to safely flip over to work on. Because of this, your participation may be limited, up to the discretion of the instructors.
